Payment and Deposits
Delightful Bites by Nina requires payment upon delivery/pickup for orders $75 and under. For any orders over $75, we require a deposit of half of the cost due at least 10 days before the order is expected. Payment can be done in cash, check or using PayPal or Venmo. Deposits are non-refundable.
Delivery
Delightful Bites by Nina does provide delivery for orders of $50 or over. The price of the delivery depends on the set up required if any, and how far we have to travel. Please be aware that we recommend cakes two tiers or over be delivered by us to ensure your cake arrives safely. If you do prefer to pick up your own tiered cake, if upon arrival, the order is damaged, unfortunately we can not take responsibility. However, we will do whatever we can to help fix anything that's been damaged. Once the cake or order is accepted by the customer Delightful Bites by Nina is no longer responsible. We will provide instructions, if needed, to care for your order.
Terms and Conditions
Delightful Bites by Nina is committed to making sure you are happy with what you're receiving. If the product provided is not what you requested we will do everything we can to ensure you are satisfied. We love Pinterest and Google images just as much as you do, so feel free to send us inspiration photos, but please be aware that we do not copy other decorator's work. If you are unhappy with your order upon tasting please be prepared to return at least 75% of your order and we will do anything we can to rectify the issue. We do not provide refunds/partial refunds unless we can identify that something went wrong with your order.
Caring for your Cakes
Unless stated otherwise, we recommend all buttercream cakes be refrigerated until about 1-1.5 hours before serving. Keeping your cake cool will ensure that everything stays in its place and nothing becomes unsafe to eat. If you have leftover cake, cover the exposed cake with plastic wrap. If your cake has fondant elements please make sure to ask for instructions. Fondant is tricky and should be handled with extra care. Serving sizes given are based on slices that are approximately 1.5" thick by 2" wide by 4-5" tall. If you'd like a cutting chart to aid you in getting the appropriate number of servings I'll be happy to provide you with a guide.
Allergies
Please alert Delightful Bites by Nina of any and all allergies or restrictions that you know of. We can not ensure that our kitchen is free of any allergens but we will keep the allergens out of your order. If one of your guests asks about a possible allergen at your event please contact us ASAP so we can be sure the allergen is not present.
